BOWEN Workforce Solutions Inc has been doing business in the Calgary employment and Human Resource market since 1974. That is over 35 years of supplying candidates with excellent service and advice! 

In June of 2009 BOWEN launched this blog to share the knowledge we have gained as an industry leader with all those who come to the blog to seek it. 

The blog’s main contributor is BOWEN’s owner and president, Shannon Bowen-Smed an active and respected leader within Calgary’s business community, and an expert on workforce-related issues. Shannon Bowen-Smed celebrated her 25^th anniversary with BOWEN in the spring of 2009. Since joining the company in 1984 at the age of 19, she held many different roles before becoming President and CEO in 1996.
